Black Magic

I’m from the Midwest and the black magic is a fantastic walleye rod. I’ve also been using it for bigger crappies fishing more aggressive baits, the tip is sensitive enough to feel when they are biting light. Another all around phenomenal rod by Aurora!

My go to ice rod!

This is the rod I reach for the majority of the time I get ice fishing! I have ran 2 other hand made brands over the seasons, and I can confidently say that Aurora will be replacing everyone of them! I've been throughly impressed with the performance in the black magic. Not only am I impressed with how lightweight it is, but sturdy built, and sensitive in the hand as well. The taper of the blank feels purpose built with a great balance of backbone to hook my fish, and flex to keep fish pinned and in control whilst fighting fish. If you're looking for a single rod that can handle most ice fishing applications, I'd go with the black magic!
