The Laker Pro ice rod is a 48" Medium-Heavy power, solid carbon spinning rod designed for big predatory fish. Although named after the Lake Trout it was originally designed to target, it has been proven as an ultimate weapon in the arsenal for targeting large pike, muskie, and walleye. The taper has been designed with a moderate-fast action which provides enough backbone for strong hooksets, and enough play to absorb large headshakes and rolls. High end solid carbon materials are used for maximum sensitivity and the detection of soft bites.
The Laker Pro utilizes the lightest materials, while maintaining maximum durability.
This rod is assembled with a standardized size 16 reel seat, so now you can easily move your favorite reel from open water to ice.

Key Feature
The Laker Pro is built with a solid carbon blank and wire guides producing the lightest laker rod in our line-up. It also strength tests as the strongest when compared to fiberglass, due in part to its solid carbon build. We avoided a hollow carbon core build because we fish in very cold environments and needed a rod constructed to handle the punishment of negative temps.

The Laker Pro ice rod is designed for big predatory fish. The inspiration for this rod came from the demand from anglers who have a passion for chasing world class lake trout on Flaming Gorge Reservoir where fish can be upwards of 50 pounds.
