Puppeteer Review for Walleye

The puppeteer is by far the best rod I have ever used for catching big walleye through the ice. In the past I’ve usually stuck with a 30-32” rod but the extra length on the puppeteer really offers that extra support for absorbing those big head shakes. Another fantastic feature of this rod is on days when the fish aren’t fully committing and the bite is super light, this rod has amazing sensitivity which allows you to feel everything while still offering plenty of backbone to get a great hook set and pin that fish below the ice. This rod also offers enough stiffness for ripping big, aggressive lures such as #7 and #9 jigging raps while also having enough sensitivity to feel a flutter spoons for those finicky days. I don’t see myself ever going to a different rod for big walleyes. Amazing rods made by some amazing guys!
